Saturday, September 20, 2008 (5 of 32) – After Bridget and Bonny arrive at Jennifer’s, Bonny is getting ready. Bridget shows Bonny the dress. Bridget pretends like she is surprised the dress is white. She acts like her mom was going to make it a different color. She agrees with Bonny that it kind of looks like a wedding dress. Bonny puts on the dress and Bridget gives her the tiara. Bridget explains to Bonny that she’s going to be blindfolded, handcuffed, and earplugged. Bonny likes the tiara I picked. She says she feels like she’s getting married. She says she feels “medieval” in the dress. Bridget and Jennifer convince Bonny that they too will be wearing dresses of a similar nature. This makes Bonny even more confused, and she has no guess as to what is going to happen. Bonny says she would like to audition for Medieval Times. (Which is funny, because that’s where I was originally planning to propose). Pepper and Patches love the dress. Bonny makes a joke about waiting for a groom. Bridget and Jennifer tease Bonny and say they ordered her a Mail Order Groom. Bonny wonders where Matt and Steven are. Jennifer says they went to get Diet Dr. Pepper. Bridget jokes that Matt is the groom changing into his tux and that Steven is going to marry them. Bonny decides that I should marry Bridget (meaning perform the ceremony) and Steven should marry us (again, meaning perform the ceremony). Bonny wants to know why Bridget is still filming. Bridget says that I told her to document everything since I couldn’t be there. Jennifer says, “Yeah, what a week to go to California.” Bridget tells Bonny that she felt bad for planning this when she did, because I had already booked my ticket to California.

how many of u know someone or have done it urself? ive heard of alot of women buying their wedding dresses (and regular clothes in general also) a few sizes smaller then they are at the moment in an attempt to motivate themself to lose weight..i can see how that would be motivation but on top of the stresses of planning a wedding..do u REALLY want to be dieting too? any thoughts or opinions or funny stories about this? easy 2 points people (as long as u answer other than yes or no lol)
i am NOT the one getting married..my college room mate is engaged and is considering doing this because she thinks it’ll give her that extra push to stick to the diet (shes not overweight at all) i dont forsee myself doin this on my wedding day…i dont want a dress that will explode the second i sit down or eat something (which i plan to do at my own wedding..bring on the cake!!) in the event i dont lose enough weight and its too tight haha
Oh me, LOL … I have seen and heard this so, so many times and you know what? It’s usually at the least a waste of money and at the worst a total disaster when the bride simply can’t squeeze into the dress on her wedding day and it’s way too late for alterations. Here’s a thought, so the bride lives on toast and water to get into her gown, making herself miserable and snotty along the way, and then passes out from near starving herself just as she gets partway down the aisle. Talk about a great wedding – NOT !!! It happens …. and it doesn’t take weeks of not eating well to do it! Buy the size you are and if by some miracle the bride does lose the weight prior to the ceremony taking a gown IN is a lot less work then trying to find enough material in the seam to let it OUT a few inches! And if that isn’t all bad enough, think about what not eating right does to your skin and the way your hair looks … a voluptuous bride with gorgeous hair and glowing, unblemished skin is SO totally more attractive then one who is skinny with lank, lusterless hair and zits!
Me and Shoua decided to do this randomly (haha, RANDOMLy, get it? ) Nevermind.
BUT, the Diet Coke w/ Mentos DOES work and we wanted to do a big explosion but I messed up on the second try.
